Abstract:

A simple and efficient one-pot synthesis of structurally diverse pyrazole[3,4-b]pyridine and pyrido[2,3-d:6,5-d]dipyrimidine-2,4,6,8-tetrone derivative via multi-component reaction of aromatic aldehyde, β-keto esters and ammonium acetate and pyrazolone or barbutaric acid as a heterocyclic core under eco-friendly condition in good to excellent yield is reported
